Wow, so they chose Cathy from ZeXal's VA to do KAT-suragi? It's like they took that character and made her better, legaler, curvier, bi-curioser, pervier, and kicker....er, excellent>v>

I'm gonna hafta check this out because of the visuals alone(unless that video preview is for the opening, which generally tends to look overly fluent and cool-looking).

Watanabe and Yoshioka also handled the first season of Ikkitousen. The arrangement is fitting since Marvelous AQL's vision for Senran Kagura was to create a variation of the Ikkitousen games using an original universe and character cast.

Shame that I never got to play this game, but regardless I think that (if they don't put some wimpy/idiotic male lead) I'll enjoy this show. The animation looks really fluid and all-girls cast fighting is never a bad thing. ^^

I wonder if they will throw in any cameos of the new characters set for Shinovi Versus; or would they wait and see if a second season was on the cards before throwing them in?

I think they'll wait before showing characters besides the Hanzou and Snake girls. If sales are good then there is a good shot for the new characters in S2.

Pretty much, I guess. Like it used Ikkitousen as a base to create the series.
If I am right, the Ikkitousen games were made by the same company?
