@eras: don't sweat it.

Finally finished DS2, once. So I'll have more time for fics writing again.

EDIT: Tabane doesn't particularly care about Ichika in canon right?

Well, dunno. Chifuyu doesn't seems to be concerned with tech, and even by theory, an I.S. will grew stronger overtime no matter the base tech. I once talk about it with Age.

In ST, Kurogane is SUPPOSED to replace Kurezakura, but it's one hell of a monster that Chifuyu's successors unable to use it at all and thus the machine fall into obscurity as she retire, that is, until Ichika and Madoka get a touch on it...

As for Tabane ot Ichika, not more than she is for Chifuyu or Houki. At least, Ichika is more important than her own parents...

@ Eras
Poor Aria, feel free to blame your daddy.

(I sense Saya no Uta reference somehow )

Blame Ichika for what?

Side note - Don't know enough about it to make references. What looks like a reference?

Nah I was joking on both

1. Blame Ichika: Because he's jsut as dense, probably inherent in the system
2. Saya no Uta: In a nutshell, the MC see the real world as Eldritch location AND an actual abomination as ultra beauty (and love interest)

He's not dense, more....reticent. He does lament at one point in the draft that he hasn't received Honmei choco yet.

I know Saya no Uta I'm mostly wondering what made the draft seem like it.

I was just imagining a scenario where a scientist as crazy as Tabane sets it up so that Chifuyu's new IS is the one made by said crazed scientist. It's a machine that messes with quantum physics and the very fabric of reality. At least theoretically. The crazy scientist gambles it'll either blow like a nuke or rip a dimensional hole.

The proposed machine's name is Senrigan.

Just like the usual, fifty fifty when it comes to new machine made by other people, especially if they're unrelated to I.S. at all.

Think of I.S. as Gameshark where that machine is a Action Replay, the same function but different principle. For me, I.S. seems to bend the reality around itself so it doesn't affected, while yours rewrite the law entirely, like AIC on crack.

@ New fic
promising, but too short to judge fully.

It's implied in canon that carrying it require several people, so, few hundred kilogram (I estimate 150-300)

may be not...

in the vol.7, both Houki and Cecilia were punished to take the running on their suit without gravity control system. It said very heavy but should be carried by normal human.

In my opinion, should be around 60-100 kg like full set of military gear

PS. however, the size of IS-suite's really big even without its user....

The actual ability of the machine gave it the name Senrigan. It can allow the pilot to see in terms of simultaneous multiple parallel dimensions. So almost all relevant possibilities that are actually happening show. It gets insane when the IS modifies the system to allow realization of alternative possibilities.

I war referring to V2 where the girls prevent Charles to do his share of work, but indeed, Ichika carried it by himself anyway. So, assuming you're strong enough, there should be no problem carrying it alone.

(Of course, THEN fridge logic kick in, but I'm gonna save that for later)

@ Demi
Ah, Schroedinger overtech. Not my cup of tea, go ahead if you wish.

@ Senpai - Another thing: how do Host clubs work? Do guys/girls act like charmers and pretend to care about what their customer is saying?

Being a good host means you did care for your customer and gave them best service, without being too attached.

In fact, the excitement get from host service is just that, finding the blurred line between interpersonal and professional relationship.

Of course, hence the "Professional" part.

I'm supposed to pull an Ouran in TLR Stratos (T-rated borderline parody of Host club), but considering the fic taken a tight turn to more serious heading... well...
