Heh, I was asking because some Japanese terms as 'Onii-san' and 'Sensei' can be portrayed to some Korean terms without further ado.
I'd have to take a look to those translations to be sure how good they are compared to the original.

I think the first thing to do a translation is to enjoy that, and to have patience. Don't rush things or feel obligated to do them, just enjoy doing it

Sorry if this question has been brought up already but does anyone know where I can read Volume 11 Translated (or a translated summary)

I know Sumergai and relentless did a summary from what I could gather skimming the posts but I can't find the actual summary they made going back many pages (maybe I missed it ?)

Well damn I didn't expect Manami to be so underhanded. It quite frankly pisses me off to no end. I always had a hunch something was wrong with her character. Looks like I was correct in thinking that. Now I hope she is exposed and kicked to the curb. To be fair I'm just being bias and I really really really REALLY hate Manami.

This story is ending next volume, I'm expecting Kirino to resolve her "relationship" between her brother once and for all cause clearly she sees her brother more as a brother. There has been no indication they're not blood related so I doubt the author is going to drop a bomb on us like that. I expect something along the lines of Kyousuke and Kirino becoming very close siblings and Kirino giving her blessings to either Kuroneko or Ayase.

Or perhaps both

^Sounds like it will go that way. It's funny how stories these days start as "oooh, taboo!" but turn toward something less crazy but still interesting (and possibly more realistic). Looking forward to the conclusion regardless.

Is Manami evil?

They key question for me is why she suggests that Ayase is the perfect girl for him in volume 8, and I doubt I'll ever find that out. Especially as Manami seems to have worked hard to snare him. The nicest explanation would be that she just wants to see him happy with someone other than Kirino. The darket explanation would be that she encourages him to have a relationship with a young, mentally and emotionally unstable girl, knowing that with the right fuelling of Ayase's paranoia, would leave to a painful and messy break-up. Once again the calm and stable Manami would be there to pick up the pieces and snare him for good.

I suspect though that the whole of volume 11 is an excuse by the author to be able to say that the "normal" relationship between Kirino and Kyousuke wasn't able to develop properly. Following up with whilst we're incredibly fond/jealous/possessive of each other we don't want a sexual relationship.

Despite Manami being built up as a villian, I don't think there's anything she can actually do in volume 12.

Agree on the last part!
Now Kyousuke already started to come out back to his former self, he is going to make a choice for himself (read : confess to a girl). And I doubt he is going to ask for an advice again.

....erhm i thnk you both are forgetting an almighty entity that Manami can turn to in an emergency case of (God forbids) a Kirino x Kyo possible relationship, actually two:

1.- Parents <- I dare anyone to tell me their parents would allow such a thing and i'll face-desk so hard i'll break it.

2.- Society. If Manami is as evil and (yandere?) as it seems, she might as well announce openly to anyone Kyo knows (and Kirino knows too) the incest thingy. If anything they'll end up having a hard life. If Kyo wanted to be a public servant he can kiss good bye that dream. Kirino in other hand, being a model and all, having an incestuous relationship i can't see it helping her career if she is aiming at such.

So yeah, Manami is not out of resources by any means, if not to stop it, she can at least force them to eventually break up.

However society's approach against taboos is not as forceful as it may seem. They can easily avoid such the impact of Japanese society by simply going out of Japan. But of course, there's still the parents problem.

I'm open for any romantic conclusion to Oreimo's story, but what I really want is for karma to smack Manami so hard that she won't be able to recover. Trying to enforce societal standards is one thing, but forcing a person to go down your route by manipulating his world is an entirely different story.

(Well, Kirino has been doing it lots of times, but it's in the eroge she plays. How ironic, though. The person who has been immersing herself in eroge for a long time is as close to being a riajuu as it can get, while the girl who has been trying to stick to the rules of society is playing a boy like an eroge.)
