yea i kinda feel like someone will have a water based zanpakutou that changes them into liquid. possibly unohana since her sword looks like a water creature. just speculating though.

kubo didn't exactly set up rules and limitations when he created the shinigami's powers. some are just so broken and over-powered you can't help but scratch your head at how ridiculous they are. so kyouraku or yamaji's powers don't bug me at all. it's kubo for crying out loud!

just bored here, but i dont see an issue with yama-jii's powers, at least not yet. all his flame techs are external and dont alter his physical form and resurrecting zombies seems legit for a soul reaper, especially the commander and most powerful. shunsui's changes his body into something immaterial. with that type of power how does he even manage to get stabbed so much? i know it plays by rules but the whole thing just seems off to me. it's too complex and the fact that his body can change form doesn't fit for me at all. even the fullbringers didnt get that strange in terms of form change. the quincies do but its dumb. this guy turned into a gorilla, that guy turned into a twinkie... just stick with projectiles and spirit particle weapons please

Annnd Yama's Bankai will be stolen. It was a good chapter by the way. Since he isn't the real boss I guess his second in command is the real deal - or it just might be Uryu, which means I get my wish

Meh, "shounen manga fight rules".

Yama-ji could just go with North since the very beginning. "Bach" (if it's him) wouldn't stand a chance to evade a surprise attack like that. Instead he ended up explaining every bit of his moves (except for North)

P.S. lol at Yamaji mindf***ing his opponent.

Nice chapter. As i expected from north, just that not exactly a ohko hit (Juha was still able to talk after being cut into 2), and not in massive scale.

And whats with the raining after the battle... forget about the typical samurai style battle ending... theoretically there shouldn't be any rain or cloud at all due to Yamaji's bankai, at least not right after the battle and not in SS...

Yeah, I suspect the real deal will turn out to be the second-in-command. Or else why keep him alive? Though Yamamoto did recognize whoever he fought as Juha Bach. So the real one should resemble him. Or at least he did 1000 years ago...he could've changed radically since then. Maybe he's been reincarnated into a new body or something like that (which could bring Ishida into the picture).

Yamamoto released his bankai, so all the moisture could return. And the sudden drop in temperature probably caused the evaporated water to condense quickly causing rain. That or a wizard did it.

I think the main point is not the cut but what was said after he was cut.

he said he was sorry for not being strong enough, but he said it as to tell someone, not to say it to himself. so here we go, the real bad shows up and says....now i know your bankai and all the bells and whistles.

I guess they cant steal it because the badge has a power limit to what it can take and if you show up with a something smaller then planned, then it would just destroy the badge.
