Zombie Mecha?

Can anyone think of a good anime with zombie mecha? By this I mean mechas made out of dead organic material re-animated by magic, not regular mechas piloted by zombies.

I guess golem mecha would be fine too.

Weird fetish requests and such I can shrug off, but this...? Why....

Too random, man.

I'm tired of the same old mecha anime.

I would like something different.

There are some mecha anime where the mecha are living creatures. Why not one with giant undead mecha made out of enormous piles of bones or such?

This kind of premise seems too obvious to not exist.

Lots of that in the 80's and early 90's

Forgotten most of them not sure if these have zombie mechas

MD Giest
Cyber City Oedo 808
Neo Tokyo

are the only ones that come to mind.

Hmmmm, looks like, amazingly, this concept hasn't been explored very much in anime.

Maybe I should write the script myself.

Not sure why it's amazing that there aren't anime with zombie mecha, lol... I haven't seen any zombie pop idol anime. Would that also be "too obvious to not exist"? I can make a lot of crap up that isn't featured in anime... doesn't make it remarkable.

Thinking about this logically...

Proposition A: There are s*** tons of mecha anime.

Proposition B: There are s*** tons of horror/zombie anime.

Proposition C: These genres have very similar fan bases.

Therefore: Doesn't it seem surprising that there are no anime about zombie mecha?

I saw the first episode a few weeks ago, seemed very interesting, like if Studio Ghibli had combined the best of Attack on Titan & 28 Days Later with plenty of their own touches.

Mobile Fighter G Gundam

both pilots & mecha's resurrected into undead abominations through the use of DG Cells (Devil Gundam Cells/ Dark Gundam in the west), a form of nano-machines, with the Devil Army (Dark Army in the west) Mobile Suits literally being walking zombie mechs made out of or coated in DG Cells piloted by corpses of their original pilots,

the DG Cells also infects living things as a form of mind control though.
