Lol! Inspiration for alcohol. This is getting too impressive hahaha. Although most people I know perfer their alcohol straight. Alcohol is only fun if you drink with friends. Anyone who drinks by themselves are probably a alcoholic...

Just got around to reading the prologue and part 1 of volume 5 chapter 1, and I must say that right off the bat I was completely caught off-guard by EVERYTHING

First things' first- MONICA IS BACK! It looks like Quenser's childhood enemy is going to be around for awhile longer

Goddamn Kamachi and his reunion teasing tendencies

!

Secondly, I would have never guessed that the main stage this time would be a sport festival

I was expecting a battlefield with PMCs running around playing a support role, but it turns out to be the Olympics on high tech! The protagonist side this time is the Capitalist Corporations, hopefully this would remain the same by the end of the volume so that we'll have a protagonist side for each of the four factions.

And last but not least...

Part 2 is up- nothing much happen, just some exposition on the manmade floating island as well as Mariydi doing her thing.

Though it does show the difference between what a professional knows to do and what the superiors and sponsors WANT them to do.

Just read the rest of Chapter 1, though Mariydi has that protagonist trait, she's a lot more colder than either Quenser or Heivia despite being younger it certainly seems like she's been doing this for a longer time. And assuming her doesn't change much at the end of the volume... She might be mildly impressed by Quenser's honest nature... Not Heivia, nobody is impress with Heivia

That being said, I expel Mariydi to be the kind of girl that goes, "hentai kirai desu."

And proceed to killing them.
