. I'm really glad that I played Alternative, no game has sent me into such emotional attachment.Funny thing is. My friend recommended the trilogy to me. When he finished the game he didn't want to hear anything about the game. I was the opposite, I liked it even more, even though the ending was... well sad :. I came to like Muv Luv story even more. I guess this story makes 2 kinds of people. 1) Those who like it even more. 2) Those who don't want to hear anything about it. If you have any other category then please share

Grew up playing card games. If you rely on your mind, it can be rather entertaining.
That said, motion sickness issues are, I suspect, more of a Japanese thing; Japanese seem to get motion sickness easily, which is why FPS don't really do well there, Halo and Kana Ueda aside. Edit: Something that bugged me - does American music exist in this universe? I wonder, because music is an important part of socialisation and it'd be a sad sad world if we didn't have any music at all. Because when it's time to die, you might as well play an awesome track as you go out. Johnny Cash, for instance. Last edited by Wild Goose; 2012-10-08 at 21:59. |

Exactly. I have plans for one of my OCs to in-universe use that as his supposed theme song. Lacking a radio... he got one of his noobs to teach him how to play a guitar.
I guess that song would still be about being sent to Nam, only that it's to get eaten by BETA instead of getting killed by Charlie. Wait, did Nam even happen in this timeline? I'm still on Extra and I can't recall if this was mentioned.

Both Americas, Oceania, Australia and Southern Africa all remain relatively free of BETA influence. Which would mean that civilian life would go on rather normally over there. I don't think that music would be absent in any way. Especially given that Touko's parents are working in Tokyo Orchestra.
I'd imagine that it would be a little bit backward compared to ours, but entertainment in those unaffected countries would still exist on fairly reasonable level. If anything, I'd imagine that most artistic themes would be much more cynical or gruesome.
