Tomoe <3 Cute first epi, I liked the narration at the beginning. Im not always a huge fan of comedy shoujo but hoping this stays good. If not, there's some eye candy

Hmm... can't say I'm impressed with the first episode. But then again, anything with non-human as either the lead hero or heroine doesn't really interest me much, so... :shrug:

Poor Nanami... meets Mikage.
Tomoe was not happy with Nanami.
Her sudden goddess status was a surprise.
Her Earth Deity duties were very much like a caretakers..
That Tomoe is totally tsundere.... I like it LOL
The whole other world adventure was really fun to watch!
I really like Nanami - Tomoe relationship, will be watching this one!

Wat. Even if they were osananajimi? Like you know, some God or Goddess found some toddler and over the years they became friends then separated and now the toddler's back as an adult or w/e. Or if both must be kids for it to work for you, how about a Deity manufacturing school o_o or just some kid being kidnapped and made something non-human (and/or Destiny! BS) and is now back or w/e w/e.

That was fun! Not surprising, with Akitaro Daichi helming. I thought the first few chapters I've read of the manga was an utter drag.

SQA Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2012	Ep 1: Spoiler: For all of the shoujo styling effects, this was legitimately funny. I imagine the romance will be more of the focus, but the first episode has some very good comedy. There was just enough of a cruel streak (like "Binbogami ga") between our two leads to make the humor work. Add in some deadpan jokes and well timed silences and you have a good old fun time in episode 1. And the sight of a bishounen kicking an old woman (though she's a demon) was pretty funny. I doubt it's going to stay this funny, but I'll be sticking around for at least a few more episodes.
