Regardless the studio, I'm still excited about this, especially with the return of most of the original seiyuu.

Any given reason why they decided to make Riki voiced by Horie Yui?

I think this has been discussed before. I don't know if they've given a single official reason, but one reason we can speculate is that, since anime voice acting is done in groups (unlike game acting), it's easier to have an actor to represent each character in group sessions. All the characters that were voiced by the same voice actor have now each been given their own separate voice actor.

For some reason VLC player does not work with .asx (I feel sorry for having VLC in my laptop... here I thought it had some use at all...

^Crunchyroll - they're streaming anime on exactly one hour after its airing in japan (although you must pay, of course).

And crunchyroll has been confirmed to do it? Guess that rules out UTW and Mazui doing subs then. Got a source for the info?
