Bland character designs/trailer + negative reviews of the VN are the reason I think.

Plus, people always get mad whenever there's a high-school setting on noitaminA.

Who cares if it's noitaminA, though? There's still a case of a decent show out of a seemingly mediocre visual novel. Hell, the first episode's not even airing.
Lol, this series is getting beaten down worse than Little Busters, dropped even before the first episode has aired.

The VN is "average" comment anyway kinda overstated now anyway, many positive comment already out here n there.. n the sales for the game is great.

I'm still more hyped to this than Psycho-Pass btw.

Eh...I don't think people are instantly dismissing the show, they just have low expectations. Most will certainly give it a shot.

More than that, I think the most of people are waiting to see how it will go.

Chaos;Head was bad, Steins;Gate pretty good, but no one can say it will be an interesting or a good show by its looks for sure.

I'm not hyped but wanting to watch the first chapter. There are a lot of series this season, and this is better than the previous season which left me a bad feeling after series such as Campione! or Koichoco.

I admit I was more hyped before I read comments saying the game was only okay. Sometimes not being too hyped is a good thing though because that can turn a series into a pleasant surprise.

Everyone keep saying that this show shares the same vibe as Stens:Gate eh? Definitely a must watch!

Durararara is "only ok" compared to Baccano.
Knew it before hand, but didn't hinder me enjoying the anime adaptation.

Same deal here, I don't usually go into anime with that great an expectation anyways.
If it's only half as good as Steins;Gate, that means it's still freakin' awesome.

I'm not hype for this one but will still check it out. Knowing the previews game like Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate is one of my reasons for checking it out but when I read the reviews for the game. It just doesn't get or give that awesome feel but then again I only check the first few one but still its worth checking.

I'm really hyped about it. The previews looked great and tbh 22 eps is more than enough to cover the true end to the VN.

Thing is people don't get that R;N is really slice of lifey compared to S;G because it takes place over the course of almost a year while S;G was over the course of two months not even. There's a lot more in-series time so it gets filled with more high school antics or some other stuff.

wuah, it's pretty sad ... I thought this one would have at least a few discussions going on but seems like the noitamina audience is locked up with the Psycho Pass one
