This thread is pretty huge, so I hope it's OK if I ask here.

I'm looking for some stand alone/episodic fanfics. Preferably comedy or slice of life. If anyone has any recommendations I'd love to hear them.

So, is it it just me, or is Ben-to an awesome setting for Kamijo Touma to appear in.

He gets to fight for his second biggest motivation; cheap food.

And an opportunity to learn how to properly streetfight... with not any of the Ben-to characters (okay they're a plus), but with Motoharu of all people.

And when we get back to the Index realm, we'll get a Touma who's still incompetent at fighting, but make cheap food as his motivation and suddenly he knows kung-fu.

That'll be nice.

Guys, I have a bit of problem with my fanfics that I might need your help with:

So, I now finally have enough time to write fanfics again after real life came down hard on me (had enough time to browse forums, but not write). Except now I have a bit of writer's block and don't quite know how to continue. for TtM, I know roughly what is coming up next but the words won't come to me - rubix (just in case people here don't know him, he's the guy with Toaru Super SS - read his stuff, it's good) is helping me with this as my beta, so this isn't the main issue. I'm also thinking about writing another chapter of MM&M for a change of pace, except that for maybe like 3 scenes I have planned in future chapters the rest of the fic is non-existent and I'm coming up with all this on the fly. I need ideas people, hit me with them. I'm desperate enough to want to get these fics finished by the end of this year to want to outsource for ideas - no more year-long hiatus's.

Tentatively planned for the next chapter of MM&M:

Touma wins the package to Italy, meets Saten and raise a flag for her route as she comes by to check if she won the prize. (this part needs fleshing out - eg what do they say to each other here?) -Misaki calls Mikoto to manipulate her tell her Touma is out of the country when she called him to schedule for their 'punishment game'. She invites Mikoto to use her punishment game with her on the same time to make Touma suffer less, get it all over at once suffer more, tongues are gonna wag when he's on a date with two Level 5s go 'fukou da'. Mikoto will be likely to stalk them both on their date anyway, so might as well make her part of it to start with where Misaki can keep a eye on her. I know what I want to portray here (sort of), but words aren't coming up. Suggestions welcome. Option 2: Skip right to the punishment game. I'm mostly only going to do this if Option 1 just refuses to work. Haven't tried fleshing out this bit yet. Only concrete thing planned thus far is Misaki meeting #10032 (equivalent to Vol12 Ch3). Further input on this section is welcome. So yeah. Please hit me with ideas, plot bunnies and such that I reach the level of "OMG I WANT TO WRITE THIS NOW." Spoiler for Option 1: For this option: Touma and Saten talk how it's a coincidence they both won a trip to Italy and the weird things that were happening at the Daihasei Festival while he unknowingly raises a flag with her. When Touma and Saten (and Index if you want) finally arrive at Italy, they suddenly realize both of them can't speak Italian. But thankfully (or unfortunately), they both get two translators; Misaki and Mikoto. Misaki, having heard about Touma's trip to Italy with Saten, decides to tell Mikoto and both of them form a truce and go to Italy to ensure nothing naughty happens between Touma and Saten. Touma not only has to deal with two suspicious Level 5s, it gets worse when Orsola and Itsuwa come into the picture much to the Level 5's anger. And then the Adriatic fleet event happens which everyone gets involve. Spoiler for Option 2: For this one, i was hoping you can use this after option 1 if you want. Misaki meets 10032 where both of them form an unlikely friendship. Mikoto doesn't like it and doesn't like it even more when 10032 introduces Last Order to Misaki where both of them form a sisterly relationship. I would love to see this kind of scene happening between the four. Mikoto: Tell me. What are you planning with my sisters? Misaki: Suspicious aren't you? I'm not doing anything bad. I'm just getting to know your sisters. 10032: Truly Oneesama has some serious trust issues says Misaka as she sighs on Oneesama's suspicion on her new friend. Last Order: Ne, ne, Misaki nee-chan, thank you for this grand meal says Misaka exclaiming with joy over a nice meal says Misaka. Misaki: Your welcome Last Order-chan. Your such a sweet girl. Tell you what. I'll buy you an ice cream sundae just for you. Last Order: Really!? says Misaka with super joy. (Hugs Misaki) I love you Misaki nee-chan! says Misaka full with love! Misaki: Kawaiii! I love you too you adorable little thing! Mikoto: Geh! Using sweets to win over my siblings. 10032: At least she's not greedy or cheap to spend her money with us unlike you says Misaka with a fact. Mikoto: What!? I'm am not cheap or greedy!! I hope these help. __________________

I like Mrterrorist idea but Spoiler for idea: it will be troublesome for 2 level 5 to disappear in the middle of daihaseisai so I will count that as out plus I prefer for more Saten exposition in the story. If she suddenly win a ticket too then a ticket for 2 but who will she bring? kuroko and misaka are out for me so only Uiharu. Tokiwadai middle school girls are out due to their school and their names or popularity. Being level 5 and the other injured. Having Saten see the dark side of the world will be a huge development for her plus she is normal which I prefer in Kamachi's work with a david and goliath type of battle. Back to serious business. Since I haven't read your work for ages. I can't remember it clear but I like it when you make it into Mikoto's face how small she know of her crush. So hear happens in the invasion of Vento arc. Here her role can level up from shooting down hound dogs to seeing the horror of artificial angel herself or ... well get ko'ed by vento..... this is also a bad battle with vento's hax spell. A plot hole. I also hope Misaki and Mikoto will do something or be involved. Specially the manipulative Misaki but Vento is well hax with her divine punishment and they can't counter it. Then what about avignon invasion? tagging along? or following ... wait that's also impossible because Kamijou was literally "kidnap" by tsuchimikado in a sense they can't follow him but information can be obtain if Misaki and Mikoto tries to use their ability. Well I'm sorry for almost none idea I can give but what I hope is for those 2 to be passive involve in the events. Specially Saten. In railgun aside Misaki she is the only one I like and kuroko a bit but kuroko is more of a illusion that can be idti idti by ib. __________________

( The prize of course being the two tickets to Northern Italy that Kamijou won. ) Feeling depressed, she remarks to herself how she wants to go on an adventure and maybe meet a foreigner that’ll sweep her off her feet like in some smutty romance novel. Well, her reasons for wanting to go on the trip should be somewhat explained. Or alternatively, she could’ve been shooting for second place: a rice cooker or something of the like. In comes Kamijou... he overhears her saying something like: “Ah man~! I really wanted to go to Europe!” At this point, Kamijou is clearly distressed over the tickets he’s won. Being the unlucky person he is, it feels too suspicious. It just doesn’t seem right. So, he has half a mind to hand over the tickets to her. “What a coincidence-! I- Eeh...” Pulling out the tickets, he accidently drops them on the ground. Saten sees him drop to one knee. Picking up the tickets, he offers while losing his original train of thought. “Shoot, uh... Italy, do you want to go?” “...” Misunderstanding. “HUH! WHA-? WHA-? WHAT!” Saten overdrive mode gets released. She briefly imagines sickeningly lovey-dovey type scenarios with this stranger. Riding a gondola together, sharing a plate of Spaghetti ( Lady and the Tramp style ), skydiving. Last image is of two silhouettes behind bed curtains merging into one. And etc. “This is... um.. I...!” Embarrassed, she runs away from the boy. “WE’RE GOING TOO FAAAAAAAST!” Alternatively: “UNIVEEEEEEEEEEESE!” Though, this might be too direct... Something more subtle like saying “ congratulations” to each other might work as well. __________________
