Ya know the cruel irony of the fact that the play is romeo and juliet and for the most part Chitoge and Raku's relationship is an amusing twist on that. Think about it rival groups who normally fight but the two heirs fall in love. In this case are forced together to avoid war
As for Onodera the fact remains that its painfully clear that Raku still has strong feelings for her but he's getting concerned about Chitoge. The sad irony is the reason that he gave up on Onodera is because he realized he had to fake his romance with chitoge to satisfy his family and protect them. Although his concern over chitoge seems more about the family then about her.
Finally Marika and Tsugumi are boringly useless now

woot!!! o_O... Onodera... is that really you??? how can she become so cute in that clothes... she's like a doll...

seems like Marika and Tsugumi won't have any possible development or role anymore

cultural festival is likely being the end of this manga (or maybe something like what's happening in oneshot), Onodera is the greatest challenger and will surely got heartbroken in the end...

Chitoge and Raku are really has some complicated feelings toward each other.. (oh.. tsundere <3)

Who knows it can go both ways. Either as a finishing run or just another hurdle.
Anyway SJ is out so kinda waiting for spoilers, wish that translators would catch up with raws (it took some time after that issues some of them had with family).

While this series rides on tropes and cliches pretty god damn hard I will admit that the moment Chitoge and Raku actually hug / kiss / whatever and MEAN IT, even if they do something stupid the moment after to negate it, I'll be pretty happy.

I agree on this one. Which is why I'm not quite surprised with the development because of the heavy cliches of this manga.
