I'd suggest Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru and the shorter OVA series Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru: Futari no Elder, it's the only series I can think of atm that fits this perfectly and is very much the focus of the series.

Try MariaxHolic, he did it for a relative. Actually both him and his sister cross dressed...

Kuragehime is a good choice. Another possibility might be Shion no Ou, though it's a drama.

Good suggestion, haven't heard this series in a long time; however, this series follows a cross dressing male teacher rather than a cross dressing "boy." This does have a similar plot style to Otome, where the only way to "fit" in is in pose as a female.

I just wish this had romance in it, would have been perfect tbh.

I'm suffering from a bit of Suggestions Forum whiplash here. Are these modifications of the original cross-dressing request or new ones? If you'd like to ask about different types of shows from your cross-dressing request, you should start a separate thread. However, before you do that you need to search the Suggestions forum a bit first. Shows where "the male or female is a ordinary people and they meet and fell inlove to each other" are a dime a dozen. Just read any of the forty-seven gazillion threads about romance shows in this Forum.

If you are looking for a show where one half of a couple is a gangster and the other half not, then I recommend Black Lagoon, though the romance is very subtle and maybe even non-existent. By the way, in this story, the guy is the ordinary person.

Still, now we're all left wondering what happened with those cross-dressing suggestions we made. Did you like Kuragehime ("Princess Jellyfish"), for instance?
