Eh? Why stop there? While you're at it might as well switch Sugou's role with Suguha's, they both have the same goal anyway ?

What, is Kirito trapped at the "bottom" of a "bottomless pit" in this version?

And somehow, I can't help but *Cry* at the idea of Asuna teaming up with Sugou (even if he's nice) to go find Kirito

Awww come on, don't make Sugou a nice guy Because Sugou designed the game and knows every inch of it, Asuna has no choice but to accept his help if she wants to save Kirito in time. Along the way they do this love-hate play and one thing leads to another...

I don't think she is actually, she isn't hiding her love for Kirito as fiercely as tsunderes normally do.

She's had the occasional tsundere moment and only really before her friendship with Kirito kicked off, and we really haven't seen it since. Should keep in mind that tsundere didn't originally mean "Shana".
