highlight of the chapter is the soifon image on page 3 can somebody post that cause im having a hard time doing it seriously though Kenpachi is alive so is byakuya and the captain commanders body wasnt found good grief that was a waste of a chapter

Kenpachi to me is believable actually. He is too tough to just die like that and he won't die untill we get to see shikai or bankai. Bakuuya is much more squishy ( for lack of better word) and kind of boring imo.

I can't believe Bakuya actually has fans. Not trolling or anything but really what is good about him? I don't hate/dislike him but i don't find his character interesting at all. He had his moment vs Ichigo but that's it.

Since we have so many characters already in bleach ( and i am guessing a few more might be added), why not just let him stay dead for the sake of the plot? Has any good guy ever died in bleach?

The only explanation i can find ( hope to be the case at least), is that He just kept him alive to appease Bakuya fans. Like how the report came that they might not be able to even wake up again, at least i hope if Bakuya survives, he just goes and drink some tea in peace. But most likely he is going to get his powers back grow some more wings ( this time maybe golden

/ level 9000 super sayan ) and go defeat people.

Sorry guys for ranting. I was just so pleased with the last chapter that this chapter was kind of a shock to me.

is this means the only firepower to fight Quincy are Urahara Kisuke and co? Ichigo-Inoue will fight together again?? yay!

Seriously, after the scene where Byakuya asked Ichigo to protect SS and everyone assumed he died, now he miraculously survived?
Though they say it isn't certain he can serve as a captain anymore, no doubt sometime during the arc we will see Byakuya face-rolling opponents again

Guys.....again you totally miss it, they aren't dead... But they most likely won't be able to fight either. To kenpachi, he might as well be dead and watch him say that... byakuya too.

I told you Byakuya wouldn't die. There's no way Kubo would kill such a popular character, at least not until the ending (yes, we're the final arc, but it's likely going to last a few years). I bet Kira is also alive despite losing half of his body.

^ Yes. It seems the only way to be sure a character(of any importance) is dead in Bleach is if, their body has been completely destroyed into oblivion. Otherwise they are just having timeout.

That doesn't mean anything in shonen. Especially not in Bleach were stuff like that has been said too many times already. Watch Kenpachi and Byakuya come back in around 50 chapters to whoop some ass.
Though this could lead up to Kenpachi finally finding out about his zanpakutos name and new powers. I doubt it, but I hope for it to happen.

The most important thing in this chapter was seeing that Komamura's lost an ear and that Mayuri is fiddling around with Ichigo's zanpakuto.

Kanpachi will be able to fight. There is no way he won't. This is a good excuse/time for him to finally learn his shikai/bankai having lost so hard against the fake Quincy boss.

What the hell...only a few 3rd tier named characters, nameless mooks, and Yama-jii bit the dust after all of that!? ... mrrrr. Looks like I won't have to say anything else on the matter. But man, that was ... frustrating to read. Okay so some of them are maimed but I highly doubt loosing an ear will affect one's combat ability in Bleach-verse all that much.
