Rumor from 2ch said 4 of them is Denpa Kyoshi (A1), Silver Spoon (Bones), Rin-ne (Sunrise), and BUYUDEN (JC Staff)

I forgot about buyuden. When the anime for magi was leaked on shokakugans site buyuden was with it and conan. So thats a highly likely possibility. As for the number they might be including their other anime projects (magi,hayate and ZKC) but i guess we'll see either way in the coming weeks.

I do wonder which episodes they're going to adapt and how much the staff is going to suffer rewriting them to be fit for TV...

There are a few that could work without much trouble, but I really hope they'll somehow include volume 7.

They really are counting sasami san and zettai karen children as two of their 8 anime. Which leaves 5 more stuff. There were 4 2ch leaks so the extra one is probably something relating to kenichi. And next week were getting 2 announcments instead of 1. Im guessing the next two are for a kenichi oad and a denpa kyoshi anime.

I stumbled upon a certain upcoming anime PV on Youtube. Can anybody help check if this is a legit upcoming anime project:

Higurashi to Hikoukigumo (Main Site)

Supposedly an NHK original anime project slated for Summer 2013 and to be animated by P.A. Works.

I was about to make a thread about this, but then I had my doubts. Upon searching for "ひぐらしと飛行機雲", a bunch of blogs and a few bbs readers turn up, but seemingly nothing from better known reliable sources. Also nothing from the P.A. Works website.

Some staff, seiyuu and even OP/ED singers are already listed, but I can't find anything similar to a plot summary or even characters. The latest dates from Japanese results and its own twitter date back to July 2012. No results from English anime news sites.

I don't want to get ahead of myself and post a thread on what turns out to be fake news or a cancelled project.

Good catch on not making the thread. The youtube PVs note that "This isn't actually being made into an anime. Please just enjoy the mood."

But I rather like the idea of an anime project conceived in 2ch with character designs by pixiv users. Maybe someday it'll actually happen.

That settles it, then. Good thing I noticed several warning flags since my Japanese is limited to the very basics.

For example, Chiwa Saito for the screenplay? I didn't know she could write scripts. She probably doesn't. And it used an older song by ClariS as the OP.

Almost had me fooled. But yes, the concept is interesting.
