Its still the same with full of sparkles yet I didn't care about it at all

Remember that G rating doesn't mean the same thing in Japan as it dose in west...

Also let us not forget that the original series was kind of childish at times.

The original series was not that childish for me

Some character was around wearing easily SM costumes , some character were doing (rape) whatever while the other was sleeping , etc
After yeah it was light , no wounds really , no consequences of battles , no deaths and a good ending

Still at least parental advisory could be a good fit.
