Because of the long time conflict with Sylphid Knights, Claire and Captain Ellis have been on bad terms. Ellis in team • though merely just two weeks after joining the team, previously they would just quarrel during the entire training.

Where is Claire?! By the way it seems that Rubia' motive is not winning the blade dance but she wants to speed up Kamito' awakening as the Dark Elemental King Ren Ashdoll once again and choose a suitable Spirit Princess candidate for him which include Fianna and Claire. She said that Kamito would be her ace in the next battle after the blade dance. We might get a much clearer details in Vol 9. Men cant wait for the Chinese scan!!!!

Rubia wanted Claire to be the Spirit Princess candidate. Sjora (the dark-skinned, green haired girl who's a human Ditto) wanted Fianna... and Sjora was 'killed' at the start of V9.

Most of the spoilers given are pretty inaccurate, amusingly enough.
