I am starting to get confused here.. Is Misaki bad or good?
Because the "dark" group MEMBER is under direct orders from ALeister Crowley.
If something should happen to a clone, they are the ones that should be taking care of it, not Misaki.

1. A battle between the Railgun and Mental Out ensues.
2. Touma breaks Misaki's illusions.

Misaki is using a control to use her power so it doesn't works directly on the brain like Aureolus's mind sealing did.

If she is lying and trying to manipulate Mikoto, then the first one obviously she will just get away, because Mikoto is.. Mikoto.

People, remember Kuroko's attempt to teleport Touma? I think it's the same thing: Given that it seems there needs to be an originally external connection from Misaki to affect people, Touma will be immune to Misaki's powers.

So? Given that the subject is memory manipulation through 'alternate' means I doubt there's a clear difference between the two.

Unless Misaki physically destroys brain cells.

It's similar to how Accelerator can reflect teleportation and yet Cendrillon's magic attack could potentially bypass his vector manipulation. Aureolus's mind sealing doesn't need to travel from point A to point B unlike telepotation or telepathy.

The point is not to prevent the mindcontrol/brainwash, but to be able to dispell it afterwards -_- That's what I was getting it.

You touch your face/head up to 2-5 times a minute, that's up to 5,500 times a day.

In the end it depends on how Kamachi wants to play it- but we have seen that Telepathy and Teleportation technically-sort-of have a vector as well, just not on xyz.... Energy has to get from point A to point B...Well, unless its quantum entanglement
