walt, that's not a Topol-M - the cab of the truck coming through the gate isn't split in two, and the wheel arrangement is different. Besides, Japan doesn't have any Topol-Ms in its inventory, and there hasn't been any word yet of any Russian involvement.

In fact, the truck is simply a tanker for JP-4, a type of military aviation fuel phased out by the USAF by 1996. It is most likely for the helicopter gunships stationed at Alnus.

the ICBM exploding COULD be deemed as the "wrath of the gods" to those who didn't see it before and a tactical nuke will be a very VERY massive AoE explosion spell that that young mage can say required several master mages to create which expended their lives.

Question: What would the point of an INTERCONTINENTAL ballistic missile be for the JSDF at this point? All the enemies they want to fight are on THIS continent.

That's like bringing a sniper rifle to a close quarters room clearing.

Urm, walt, you're not making much sense jumping from topic to topic haphazardly.

It's already established that the truck is NOT an ICBM, so that line of thought regarding ICBMs being a threat to the local deities is moot.

A high likelihood, if ever Takami is forced to make a detour. I do think though that the girls will keep him sufficiently occupied after his little visit to the Tokyo Diet.

It's probably an inevitable outcome since he did receive a text from her. It's pretty obvious foreshadowing and we'll laugh as they meet under the most awkward circumstances possible. Being surrounded by 5 girls from another world will be an interesting talking point when they meet. An elf, loli-demi goddess, a dfc mage, the princes of from the empire and her second in command are already part of Takami's harem.

I'll say it again, as diplomatically as possible:

- The truck is not a nuke.

- Japan doesn't have nukes.

- Russia (who has nukes) isn't involved in the story yet.

- Since nukes are not involved, there is no need to think about what happens when they are used in the context.

It had been suggested on Japanese Wikipedia that Pina Co Lada may even acquire an penchant for otaku subculture, although that's just based on my shoddy high school Japanese.

The party arrives in Japan through the gate.

A shady Military Intelligence-type shows up and apparently debriefs Itami.

In a preliminary meeting with Japanese government representatives, it is revealed that there are over 6,000 Empire soldiers currently being detained since the aftermath of the initial invasion.
