Btw, does anyone knows what exactly is the thing Arashi suggested Akito wearing? That’s coz it kinda looks like a traditional male clothes from my country. To be exact, it’s from Papua, the region right after New Guinea’s border. The said traditional clothes is called “Koteka” where it only covers the man’s penis part (even the balls aren’t covered). It’s just, Koteka is bigger/longer than what Arashi has. Is there any other traditional clothes like that in other countries/culture?

When I saw it, that's what I thought they were intending. They may just have got the size wrong, out of ignorance or for comedy. I think many people in the West, and probably in Japan, have seen old pictures from Papua and/or New Guinea of men wearing that interesting "garment." Glad to know the real name. I've seen it called a "penis sheath."

Spoiler for OniAi 09 - Picked up a Cat on Friday:

The show's episode titles are getting much more intense. And yet, the long phrase each of them stands for continues making some degree of sense. The way this show is composed is turning out pretty well. It feels all familiar, yet slightly off course from the way things usually go that it's quite entertaining. For example, this week, which will be a treat for all the Gin fans out there.

After a short sketch with a cat, the majority of the episode is composed of everyone's attempts to help Akito after he gets sick. This includes Arisa, Ana and Akiko. It goes about as well as you'd expect. Arisa really sounds like Nana Mizuki at points, even if I know it's not her voicing the role. This episode wasn't quite as wacky as last week's, but the characters bounced off each other well enough. And Ana's mischievous side is always a lot of fun to watch.

As Ginbei is helping a cat, Akito suddenly catch a cold. In order to cure him, Arisa give him a curable meal while Ana is sharing a conversation to help him fight against his sickly cold. Unfortunately, Kaoruko is also catching a cold, which causes a misunderstanding towards her assistants. Thanks to Akiko, Akito is cured but at the same time is sharing a little moment with Ginbei, who's telling a piece of her memorable flashback, and it is revealed that they are both childhood friends. A very good episode that makes me get rid of the bad day, and it's still very enjoyable so far. There's three episodes left, so I'm looking forward to a satisfying conclusion of this great pseudo-incestual romantic comedy anime !

ep9. Almost nothing happened, and yet when the end credits came up, I thought the show was only halfway through. Arisa, Ana, Gin, Akiko -- all had very nice little set-pieces with Akito. And he responded positively to them all. Enjoyable episode.

And Kido Ibuki just keeps proving how talented she is. She's only 15, but there is not a trace of flatness in her voice, just lively flexibility and control.
