I was never an adherent of Haruhiism since I used to be a member of the radical, heretical cult of Asakuraism instead.

Nowadays, I count myself as a member of the Church of Madoka.

Special veneration to her (unofficially) appointed junior goddess - the patron of healing, music and unrequited love.

*Goddess of Hope: Madoka

*Goddess of War: Homura

*Goddess of Food not related to cheese, cake, or fried eggs: Kyouko

*Goddess of Healing, Music, and Unrequited Love (as per above): Sayaka

*Goddess of Tea, Cake, Muskets, and Drill Hair: Mami

*Goddess of Cheese: Charlotte

*God of Advertising: The Morning Rescue Guy

My favorite would have to be Ebisu, the God of Commerce, from Wagaya no Oinari-sama! He owns a convenience store. How awesome is that? Besides, he's fun and interesting.

Ah, I knew there was something I forgot. This nagging feeling in the back of my mind as I was writing my post.

Hanyuu is awesome. Not the kind of deity I expected to see in that role, but one that worked out marvelously. She might be the first role that made me stand up and take notice of Horie Yui as well, who gave one of the most sugary sweet performances I'd heard to date.

I have to say when thinking about the topic question she was probably the first one that came to mind. That and a desire to rewatch the series

. Before Hanyuu never thought I'd consider a deity to be that adorably cute. But she does have the ability to go badass when needed and certainly has the powers to be worthy of her position.

Though maybe it was that character song of hers that made Hanyuu unforgettable
