Honestly, it was meant as a sort of compliment. The reality is that in the time between Clannad and Hyouka, KyoAni didn`t do a series I was interested in enough to finish - and Kanon was the last one before Hyouka that I really consider exceptional - so I guess I still have a fairly high bar when they come out with a new show. Especially one with concept art like this one.

Like I said earlier though, except for the FMPanic stuff I have found myself enjoying most of KyoAni's releases up to now.

Triple_R kinda addressed some of the things I was also thinking about at the same time some posts above.

Didn't mean to come across as singling you out per se....

I'm assuming Pony Canyon bought two cours. One for chuuni and one for tamako. Chuuni's timeslot will be the same as Tamako's. Animax might use a 1-hour special to air the last episode of chuuni and the other half for tamako's first.

Yūki Kaneko as Midori Tokiwa, Tamako's classmate, childhood friend, and baton club member. Her grandparents work at a candy shop in the Usagiyama shopping district.

Juri Nagatsuma as Kanna Makino, Tamako's classmate and fellow baton club member. She is the daughter of a carpenter who is kept very busy in the shopping district.

Now that we know for sure Midori is a girl... yuri confirmed? I still have my doubts. An atypical love triangle would be great, but I'm afraid Midori will just be the overprotective lesbian-in-name-only.

Tamako Market shares the exact same timeslots as Chuunibyou, except for the loss of Animax on Thursdays and the 18 day delay for BS Animax. Every other slot remains the same after a two week break for the New Year's activities.

The ANN synopsis leaves that detail out, but yeah, apparently AXN and other places leave in the fact that Midori ALSO loves Tamako.

The ANN article did mention that the character details and synopsis from the official site differed from what animax posted and then later took down.
