I don't think it is practical to protect an entire country with just one Jaeger unless there's some teleportation technology or the Jaeger could fly...

And EVEN with that humanity is still losing

No. Just that each of the designs presented so far is in a different language, suggesting they are build by that country. The question is, is there only one of eachm or multiples of each? If there are recruitment posters, one would assume multiple sicne the crew seems to be two each.

Still no news on a trailer drop yet? July 2013 can not come quick enough. The premise sounds awesome and right up all the mecha fans street.

Aside from the fact this movie looks great....

Why do they need multiple pilots?

I mean they'd have to do the exact same moves.

The closest this comes to are the Titans from Warhammer 40K where the machine is controlled by one man plus 2-3 others that support him.

Crimson Typhoon, Gypsy Danger, and Striker Eureka have offensive weapons. Missiles and plasma guns IIRC.

I dunno because they are both moving the robot with the same moves.

I mean have you not seen Neon Genesis Evangelion?

There's just so much work to it when you have two people that apparently need to do the exact same moves to move the robot unless pilot 2 is copying pilot 1.

I really can't serious imagine they do rocket punch in the way we know,in that GLORIOUS 3D.

I kind of feel that at one point Gypsy Danger RIP its arm off and ROCKET PUNCH with that.
