That is a typical thing I get from people. Even interviewers....until I start discussing the stock market and computers (my favourite subjects).

I only joke about that when people asked me if I am attached.

On the topic of appearance, the one thing that always slightly irks me is that despite 6+ years having passed, as long as I'm clean shaven, I look pretty much exactly as I did in high school, except with longer hair. Though I suppose that in some ways, there are very, very slight advantages

It's the Forever-17-Till-You-Turn-Yoda syndrome that many Asians have. I have it, too, and I ain't complaining. The downside is that people often comment on your looks not as a compliment but as a way of looking down on you for looking like a "child". Well, either way I usually take it as a compliment so I can make people look dumb when they try to insult me.

I also still look like I did back in high school and I'm not Asian. This used to bother me, but with age, I'm starting to this as a good thing. Now if only my hair could stay young too... I'm already starting to go bald ;_;
