Somebody needs to do the Oarai thunder run set to the Battlefield 3 theme so we can emulate that game's thunder run.

Also, why has no one crossed over Garupan with this yet?

Interestingly enough, in or around this time last year, I was watching "Letters from Iwo Jima" again for the second time. Love me some Ken Watanabe!

Reply hazy, ask again later

I agree. That movie was superior to Flag of Our Fathers.

I was thinking Girls x Warbirds, and I really don't count Strike Witches as being its representation.

As for Girls x Navy, it would work... unfortunately, not many countries had much of a navy...

The main powers did, at least for their regions. Germany and Russia were notably small in naval power, though what the Germans had was impressive at times.

The Japanese, Americans, and British had the lions share, with Italy and France having a stable core group of warships for their areas. The even smaller powers tended to have one to three capital ships, though carriers are few and far between in 1940.

There is a Manga Kurogane Pukapuka Tai about a panzerschiffe (like Graf Spee) made in Japan with the guns of the old battleship Kurama, and crewed by girls.

The Soviet optics were actually very good( they were infact German). Problem was the quality of them varied especially in 1942.

There was a damn good thread on TankNet that covered all the so called flaws of the T-34.

Yeah, it'd be pretty interesting to see hot/cute girls actually piloting WWI-II aircraft like that...a red-head in a red pilot suit piloting a red Fokker Dr. 1 Triplane...epic, lol.

"You are not allowed to die until you kill ten Americans!"

Oh, how I wish people would apply that sort of logic to WoT more often...

Ya know, the mid sequence was pretty hilarious. Here you have a private, carrying a shit-can on top of a hill, only to witness the American fleet. I almost thought he was going to use the shit-can himself!

Oh shit...

I was so scared I nearly shit myself...

Iwo Jima was a rare engagement where American casualties actually exceeded Japanese ones!
