So Wooden Sword Ryu II assembles his whole gang to lynch a 12(I think?) year old kid? Talk about overkill.

Anyway I've just read the chapter... Too much Yohane and not enough Anna III; and here I was hoping that Takei Hiroyuki would have improved (or at least changed) his romance writing style...I don't want to have to go through 30-100 chapters for a single scene =_=

So, I recently bought the 2 available tankoubon. So far, I cannot find anything spectacular about the story. Seems to me like a rehash of what was in Shaman King with younger hero(in)es, at least so far. The new Anna , Almi, is pretty interesting, with shaman powers descended from Patch and Itako abilities. Tamao also grew up to be quite a fearsome woman, from the way she kicked the ass of Yohane's father. Not too sure whether I'll be getting v3 which will be released in May. I hope to see some good cameos with Yoh and the old Anna kicking ass. Also nice to see Also nice to see the 'Flower Group' staying with the Asakuras.

Well certainly the story feel rehash so far. except being the character is 180 compare to original

? I know the author likes to throw in weird military thingies along side the shaman battles since the first story, but it still feels very wtf-ish

Also, the two of them really don't look much older than when they were in the original... I guess all those sexual tension between those two just exploded after the Shaman Fight

I wonder why the got chased in the first place.

Oh and why is it that I got this subtle feeling that they're an anti-shaman force who had the ability to negate their power? I mean, they DO look like they're in danger eventhough they had powerful abilities like SOE... remember the part where Hao solo'ed military forces?

One of my favorite scenes of the original; Hao made it look like he needed everybody's help to defeat this Naval force by Manta's dad... But ended up soloing the entire thing himself

Yoh called SOE, but it looked like that helicopter negates the OS?
'Don't fail me now!' in the same scene indicates that SOE proved ineffective in previous encounters as well.
