^ I think that what might of happened due to Eugeo being killed it caused Kirito to wake up, or disconnect from UW, because at that point in the story he is yelling at someone in the real world and sounds like he is going to go after them. So I think his avatar in UW is incomplete or in a zombie state without him connected to it.

Web Chapter 5 and first parts of Chapter 7 plus new additional content from the real world side.

As for Chapter 6, the author may have delayed it for plot purpose.

I went cheap route and ordered volume 11 via local Kinokuniya, and so far, still no news of my copy being shipped...

Just got my hands on the scanned raw, but I wonder what happened to the previous contributor of earlier volumes. The scan raws of Progessive volume 1 and volume 11 leave a lot to be desired.

From a quick flip (no time to read it yet), Interlude III which is a chapter not available in web version is only 17 pages long.

Maybe Kawahara wanted just to mention Asuna even on a short chapter. If he didn't do that when would we read about Asuna and the real world again?

Asuna appeared again in the first part of chapter 8, which would be in volume 14, I guess...

I kinda lost my head in the explanations so could someone explain to me how Kirito managed to hold on to his memories when RATH plugged him into UW to save his life?

Unless I missed something, they just didn't block them this time. When he went under before, they'd block his memories so his only experience would be with the virtual world, but they didn't do so this time.

By Volume 11, Chapter 5, does Tap and the other TLs mean Volume 11 = Chapter 5 of the alicizazion(?) arc? or chapter 5 of the volume? I'd rather not touch the chapter in case I end up seriously spoiling myself D:. Also, does the observer guy ever show up later in the arc? I liked reading h(er)is lines, (s)he's a very interesting character actually. I'd like to see who his/her/it's master is. Also if ever it get's it's wish to see what lies on the other side of the mountain.

Spoiler for : Higa and Kikuoka surprised that Kirito retained his memories when he contacted them. Higa explained that it probably because of the damage to his brain before they put him into STL that caused the memory blocking function failed to work properly. Higa also knew current state of Kirito, saying it was because the electric surge in STL that magnified Kirito's self-blame for the death of Eugeo and causing it to nearly destroy his very soul, just 1 step short of irrecoverable.
