I actually wanted them to animate Greece Arc not because I’m a fan of Athena. I want it because her arc is essential in Hayate’s story. How can they seriously not considering animating it? It's like Dragon Ball Z without Freeza Arc, or Bleach without Soul Society Arc.

(This is probably a farfetched reason) But it could've been Hata may have wanted to do something different from the anime(you know to give himself a break if you get what I mean). It's not the first time a Mangaka, Author, Songwriter etc. has gotten sick of his own story or what ever?

Then he would have written another new story and not use the same series.

This is true. But I was kinda hoping that it wasn't the only reason you know? Like he had some bigger plan but oh well.

I don't know, this is the first time I've heard of an Author deliberately delaying his best arc.

HnG is a good franchise. They should go for a studio that can make a good job. The staff that did the second season with J.C Staff did a great job with it, and I would go back to them if it was up to me to make the decision. However, if they indeed have to go for another studio, for whatever reason, I'd say P.A. Works, A-1 Pictures, SHAFT and KyoAni would all be great for the type of story HnG is.

You do realise it's impossible for this new season to be a response to the "failure" of CTMEOY, right? For it to come out this soon after CTM ended, it would have had to be in planning before CTM started airing, and in production during that time.

I've had the feeling for a long time that Hata seriously regrets doing that arc. Moving the story forward seems to be like pulling teeth for him.

Im in for another Hayate series. I hope this is a manga adaptation. Not saying I liked it, but I kinda got used to Manglobe's artwork.
