^ As far as I recall the curse was only for his offspring, not himself. It's Rikuo who shall have the curse lifted. And given the recent developments is pretty much fact it will.

Officially, what we call chapters 208, 209 and 210 are the sequel.
Will Hiroshi make a sequel to that or a spin-off remains to be seen.

I wouldn't say she beat Kana, it was heavily implied that she was the closest to him, but it was fairly open ended.
