Resolutions, eh? Might be many many days late in posting, but seems like I'm in a good crowd for that...
1. Take responsibility and take initiative to complete your assignments and duties... so far, not so good ![]() ![]() 2. Get a girlfriend. Unfortunately, Kotonoha Katsura doesn't really count ![]() 3. Write a Manga. Heck, essentially, I plan on making several fanfiction mangas, before I get on with the manga story that I've been thinking of and developing for over a year now... 4. Find more hats of a vintage era, military hats, or foreign. Because some of you know I'm a bit of a hat guy... currently on my wishlist is a Tom-Bowler/Derby hat, a large, conical-style Mongolian hat, a Shako, a Soviet officer's peaked cap, a WWII German M43 field cap, an Australian slouch hat, and a Musketeer's chapeau. If I can get any of those, 2011 will have been a very nice year indeed. 5. Open up, get out of my shell more, make new friends and... socialize a bit more. Frankly, my current lifestyle consisting of lots of internetz isn't helping me, really... And I need to make friends with friendly people who I like. A reason for why I go on the internet so much, is because I like you guys much better than those (insert expletive here) who I call "friends" per-se. Sometimes I wonder if I'm friends with them just to not look like an outcast...

its NECRO time. What no-one had any new years resolutions for 2012? Or maybe I just couldn't find the right thread.
Anyhoo, its that time of year folks, time to make all the promises we aren't going to keep ![]() Heres my list, nice and simple: 1.) Stop smoking so much damn pot 2.) Study class material for college BEFORE the classes : i.e. study everyday 3.) Start doing yoga + meditation + working out seriously 4.) Start practicing my Japanese again 5.) Read more novels! What are YOUR new years resolutions? Oh, and happy new years in advance! |

My New Year resolution is to have no resolution. It's easy to make them, but it's even easier to break them. I just want to look forward to a new year without the burden of achieving any resolutions. It's too restricting for me.

Get more sleep.
For the past 50 weeks or so, I have slept for less than 30 hours on practically every week. Sure I get more things done but I don't want to bedridden in my 40s. I don't see the need to make a resolution for : 1. Getting my CCNA 2. Going back to school to finish my degree 3. Read more books because I am already on track on those. I just hope that the exam hall for the CCNA won't fill as fast as it did this month.

As for myself...
-Get into shape: Surprisingly I actually met my goal of losing weight for 2012. Now I just need to get in shape and make sure to keep that weight off. ![]() -Get a better...or atleast an "enjoyable" job: Who doesn't want a better job? So far it seems like it's choice #1 for most people. At the very least I hope to have a job that I can enjoy like when I worked at a game shop back when I was still in school. Though unfortunately I couldn't meet living...and game/anime/manga expenses with that job so I had to leave. orz -Finish paying off my debts/loans: Took out a good chunk out of it in 2012 and unless something goes horribly wrong then I'll be done with them in 2013. ...unless ofcourse I just jinxed myself. ![]() -Finish school: I seriously wish I could go back in time and tell my younger self how important this is. ![]() -Visit...but preferably move to and live in Japan: At the very least I want to visit Japan for Comiket. If all goes well then I may be able to make the summer Comiket but realistically I'm looking at the winter Comiket. That way I have more time to save up some spending $$$. ![]() But when it comes to moving there...*sigh* Quote:

![]() Really? Most people are worried about gaining weight and here you are worried about LOSING weight? A bag of cookies will take care of that.

Drop to 8% bodyfat in time for my vacation. At approximately 10-11% right now (used to be a dreadful 30%, so even if I fail, I won't be too disappointed with myself. Nonetheless, I am determined to reach 'ripped' status for vanity purposes, lol).
More importantly, I'd also like to resolve to put in a good amount of effort in my new real estate career. I'd really like to have enough savings to make a trip to Japan sometime next year. |

I'm 21 and 125 lbs; even a nasty diet of eating out due to late school hours for an entire semester didn't really affect me in the weight department. I would just prefer to not weigh less that some of the children on the street. :3
