Hah. Well, never really cared for the Nobel Gundam's design myself, though I have to give it points for creativity.

I don't know. Then again I don't consider just turing Sailor Venus into a robot very creative myself.

Nobell is probably my least favorite from G aside from Bolt though maybe it's just me.

I have many favorites, but I feel special attention needs to be paid to this one:

Sandrock Custom.

The redheaded stepchild of Gundam Wing. The one everyone forgets about, the one most people outright dislike.

I love the earthy colors and the stout build, the giant solid blades with both a graceful and meacing look, the Roman headpiece and the snakehead shield. It's solid as a rock and unmovable as a mountain.

Add in the new armor cape from GoL and the cloth cloak (which the rest of the Wing Gundams have adopted as well in FT) and it's quite a beautiful machine to behold. Such a shame it's not featured in more games or merchandise.

Sandrock is one of my favorite Wing Gundams too. Actually, my least favorites of the Wing Gundams would be Katoki's version of Wing and Wing Zero.

Well,I really like the Freedom Gundam design, especially on the wings. Its Wing movement when maneuvering to avoid enemy fire is extraordinary. Look very fast, strong and sharp. One more factor to consider is the main weapon design is very efficient. Becoming one with wings, very cool.

But unfortunately when made model kit by Bandai is not as good as the anime/:

Let's mix things up a bit.

What's your favorite transformed variable MS? Not the MS mode, just the transformed state. Unicorn and Reborns don't count, I think, given how it's just one humanoid mode to another...

my favorite mecha designs in no particular order are the following

Age-2 Normal - I just love it's head design
00 Raiser - Even if the jet back pack still annoys me sometimes
Freedom Gundam - Like its wings better than s. freedom
Aile Strike Gundam
Zeta Gundam
Nu Gundam
Sandrock/Sandrock Kai Gundam - Both the EW and TV versions
Gundam X Divider - I still find it better than DX for some reasons
Victory 2 Gundam
Zabanya Gundam

I realized the reason why Kio sucks as of this moment is because unlike flit and asemu, he doesn't have a badass ally named woolf!

For me as much as I love Age-2, I'll give it still to Zeta Gundam for the sheer awesomeness of it's waverider mode and being the first transforming MS. Plus in it's waverider mode, it's not that obvious that it is actually an MS, unlike *cough* wing zero and epyon *cough*

I like Gaia's transformation in SEED Destiny. Is it practical? Maybe not, but in a world where humanoid mechas can potentially keep up with airplane-shaped mechas in an aerial dogfight, a beast-like transformation is refreshing.

It helps that I also like the transformation/mechas in Beast Wars (primarily), Beast Machines and Zoids Genesis.

Not really a fan of Mobile Suits’ MA modes since I found many of them weird-looking (yes, even Zeta’s Waverider Mode). But some indeed piqued my interest .

Here's my list with provided pics for some Mobile Suits:

Spoiler for MA-Mode galore:

I would say for me it's a three way tie between Wing Gundam Zero TV/Wing Gundam EW/ZZ.

I don't understand the need to hide the Gundam, it's a transformation made for flight/covering distance usually. The weird need, or dislike of a Gundam who transforms for function doesn't need to suddenly prettend it's not a Gundam.

As for reasons

Zero - The shield actually looks good and the wing's always being open add a nice touch not to mention the TBR actually looks good in this mode.

Wing - The giant wing's just look great and the shield not having the sensor combined with the much larger buster rifle looks amazing.

ZZ - G Fortress is just amazing in both how large it is for a MA mode and it looks powerful in a totally unique way from the MS.

Just finished Wing a couple days ago. Deathsythe (sp?) and Epyon had some pretty badass designs.

I recently finished re-watching X and there are quite a few unique designs.

The Daughtress and its many variations, the Juracg Cold Climate Type, Jenice and Septem were all pretty cool.
