he probably going to end up with mashiro, unless the story take a twist turn,

She does try to flirt with him early in the novel, in the episode where the anime showed her in a yukata. She tried leaning forward and making a coy pose, but her flat expression and voice ruined it.

She also seems to be way more of a troll given that when Sorata calls her an idiot she takes it as a compliment and says "Well, not really". Multiple times afterwards she says the same phrase as Sorata gets more and more annoyed with her repeating it.

I think those scenes were chosen because the second half will be about the continuation of those scenes. I am looking forward to see the continuation of that last scene.

Sorata call her an idiot?, hmm, i never notice it. the only time i remember he calling her a idiot is when she failed her test and he called her retarded genius.

Ah, i remember that episode, i dont think it really flirting, but w.e, still one of the best episode. she wished that sorata wish come true, and sorata wish was that mashiro lose the competition. I almost cry.

Yeah, that's what I meant by "idiot". Though he never does call her a retard, just an extremely stilted savant/genius.

Anyway, she outright looks like she's pouting in novel pic, so she's most likely trying to flirt.

i dont think she even know how to flirt, this is the first time she feel love.

the best i think she know is when Misaki told her that "sorata like it better if she doesn't wear pants", so my conclusion, she have no idea what flirting is.
