Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

Bored... Now that's a word I wish I could use! I can't remember the last time I could genuinely say I had nothing I wanted or could do at any given time. I need more time!!

Break the ten kilometre run mark
Apply for ADF successfully
Buy a couple of new rifles (includes tracking down a mint M1917)
Learn Japanese!
Spend more time with friends and family
Get some balls and ask out one of the many girls I like...
From two years ago... I can say

I lost the five kilos
Thirty-five push ups is still my max
Broke ten kilometres a few months ago but six is still my comfortable distance.
Successfully applied for the ADF and I go in a week.
Brought a couple new firearms since that post but yet to get a mint M1917.
Learn Japanese! I know a lot more than I did back then but still hardly anything to gloat about.
Got a lot more friends now so my weekends are often from one party or get together to the next.
Most of the girls I liked no longer live around here.

New resolutions
Lose another five kilos.
Excel at training.
Complete training successfully.
Make heaps of new friends and broaden my horizons.
Have fun doing it.

My two pence on making New Years Resolutions.
If planned well and within your ability to follow, you'll find you'll achieve them without too much hard work

Quote:
"Make New Year's goals. Dig within, and discover what you would like to have happen in your life this year. This helps you do your part. It is an affirmation that you're interested in fully living life in the year to come.

Goals give us direction. They put a powerful force into play on a universal, conscious, and subconscious level. Goals give our life direction.

What would you like to have happen in your life this year? What would you like to do, to accomplish? What good would you like to attract into your life? What particular areas of growth would you like to have happen to you? What blocks, or character defects, would you like to have removed?

What would you like to attain? Little things and big things? Where would you like to go? What would you like to have happen in friendship and love? What would you like to have happen in your family life?

What problems would you like to see solved? What decisions would you like to make? What would you like to happen in your career?

Write it down. Take a piece of paper, a few hours of your time, and write it all down - as an affirmation of you, your life, and your ability to choose. Then let it go.

The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals."

Few personal ones I am not up for sharing , but one I'll share:

-Take better care of my hair.
While I've been washing it plenty, I've been out of habit of brushing it enough since I've grown it out a lot more than I had in the past, but I got a new comb recently to help me do it more.

My New Year's resolution, other than getting a high GPA in college,is actually a fairly simple one:

Clean up my Disaster Area of a room before I go back to college

Wikipedia. Google. Marketwatch. Reuters. EEtimes.

There is bound to be libraries which are garbage. Stick to the reference section and science fiction shelves - the day passes much quicker than you think.
