So I can classify the tennis ball idea as special training then.

Compared to being trained by the girls. How much worse do you think being trained by Chifuyu one on one would be like?

Also, what are good ways to do evasion training? as well as awareness.

Chifuyu = do or die, if you fail, there's no hope of salvation, and her expectation are waay over the roof, but if you succeed....

(note: this is used in Rin Kujou's backstory, had I continue, and she's one of the very few that managed to survive)

The best idea is simulating the attacks, of course, like what Stratos said. Real weapon SHOULDN'T be used. (not like Chifuyu care though, as we can see in V5)

Can Tatenashi ever be beaten? It seems outright impossible, unless you're an even bigger sue than her (Tabane and her Golem army).

With her being author's pet AND Fandom's favorite (aside form the usual)? Naaahhh, her canon self is plain impossible unless it's bigger badass like Chifuyu, Tabane (+golem), and possibly, Squall.

V7 seems to make a nerf attempt, but since I haven't read it, I prefer not to comment.

She can be beaten. You just need to out psyche her. One of my theories is that when she shows her boobs in a bid to distract you, you grab them and she freezes in place.

Does the IS arena have any form of self defense other than the barrier?

Well, a mini-joke side story in Reversal is Chifuyu's middle school friend, being an Assassin, trying multiple ways to best her in anything (since she's a templar), only to fail epically every single time due to lacking an IS and the Uber training. Doesn't help that they're cousins.

Nope, the barrier is formed INSIDE arena too, so it's not much of a self defense, just containment system.

The roof is kinda thin too, Golem I can oneshot it from outside. The side wall seems to be much thicker though.

Tatenashi in particular seems to be a Karma Houdini in the fic since getting karma is only possible through derailment. Chifuyu makes a low blow about Kanzashi later on, but even then it's just a petty insult.

She's already been beaten twice.

I'm Planing a Small(for now) Crossover of IS with Gundam AGE, mostly to happen in the second generation(ie the IS are part of the EXA-DB who are found by flit during his early adulthood, but still our Tabane Shimonono will help with the IS), some suggestion if the IS would be perfectly for space combat? taking part of gundam series and adding those to full fledge MS?

Had I.S. built the same scale as gundam, the result would be horrifyingly fast, powerful super robot. I'm not familiar with AGE but from what I gather, I.S. in gundam form would be similar to how CB first unleash their second generation gundam.

Squall was clearly playing around with her, in partial deployment.

Tatenashi did admit she wasn't a match for Squall.

The whole unbeatable thing applies more to Chifuyu than anyone else, though even then it doesn't hold much weight as we've never seen her in a real fight.

Adults obviously get more experience and training compared to the teens. Even ditzy Maya is a klutz outside IS but a physical champ inside one.
