^So it was announced way before.
Well then, I guess this means we are getting kind of a bittersweet ending afterall. Bitter because of the truth and because they are not getting out of the island, never. And sweet because someone is getting laid. |

The whole "not a trace of them was found" leads me to believe it really was a time slip. Though I won't deny the theory that cloning them was attempted (after all, I posted that theory myself some time ago! Hahaha).
Also, Akira's mom is bloody hot. Um...when she's not drowning in grief anyways.

Well the author could also do some Deus ex machina stuff and make a good ending out of no-where (conveniently placed time machine anyone?
). But it looks like we are going toward a "this is reality time to move forward as much as possible" kind of ending. Regarding Hades, I hope he plays some kind of role in the ending. Hades was such a interesting character and they made it seem like he was going to play a massive role, I would be disappointed if that wasn't the case.

Hmm, with the translation the cloning angle is gaining steam, but I have a feeling that we might get a combination of both: a time slip DID happen, and the island they landed in HAD a cloning project going that had its ultimate end to bring those who disappeared in the plane crash back to life, but the latter went horribly wrong somewhere along the way.
