Thought I'd pop in here and leave this from the World of Tanks newsletter. I think this should remove any and all mystique around matchmaking as well as give people an idea of how certain premium tanks get matched up!

Every time I get kinda irritated at my Hetzer and move to install the derp gun, I end up having a decent battle with the 75 L/48 and decide to stick with it.

Also, Tier 12 is like some sort of mythical, horrifying place.

Right? To be honest, until I saw that table shown above in the WoT official forums, I didn't know there was actually a Tier 12.

Let me guess:

Tier 11 German tank: Leopard I
Tier 12 German tank: Leopard II

Tier 11 American tank: M60 Patton
Tier 12 American tank: M1A1 Abrams

Tier 11 Chinese tank: Type 88
Tier 12 Chinese tank: Type 96

Tier 11 Japanese tank: Type 74
Tier 12 Japanese tank: Type 90

Tier 11 Russian tank: T-72
Tier 12 Russian tank: T-90

... ah, who the hell cares what the Brits & French get...

Tier 11 means battle made up of only Tier 9s and 10s. Tier 12 means battle made up of only Tier 10s.

That's what I did, got the code, but when I try to activate it, it says wrong region.
So I guess the code can only be redeemed on a US account.

My PzIV crew is at 99% on their first skill. Looks like that last percentage point takes somewhere between 9250-9500 XP to complete. Yargh?

Wait till you are trying to get the second skill done. 10000-15000 to get from 89 to 90%.

Yeah, the final stretch for that perk is a total tease and grind. Kind of surprised that I was able to get the first skill for my most experienced crews (who're currently manning the Panther and Tiger).
