PLEASE! Categorize the anime!
I think it would be so much better if we could tell by looking what type of anime is being offered.
Like Drame, comedy, love, fanservice, mech, action, etc. etc. I love certain types of anime, and I don't want to miss any of those types because I just didn't know. Being able to see what genre' it is. I think its a great idea, and I think my next step is to go into the subbers irc channels and plead my case. Maybe some sort of code next to the name of the series, like C for comedy and D for DRAMA and so on. |

Actually if you go to anime review sites like animenfo.com you can easily browse the anime according to the different categories. It even has synopsis plus reviews & ratings by the members. Then after you found something you like, you can come back to animesuki to dl (provided it's not licensed that is).

Actually an option for "Genre" is now in the database design,
yet... nothing is done with it so far. So you may see it as an option in the future, but as with all things I can't promise "when". |
