Sad thing is that Shounen romance stories start out with so much potential and the authors, maybe because of the editors, just constantly fail to execute down the stretch.

I like Nisekoi but I'm a little tired of that being the only type of Shounen romance that can survive.

This series started out well. Utsumi stuck to his guns, things were paced well, characters were developing nicely. Then it just hit a wall and just kept driving up that damn wall.

Fuck.
At least you got to see the girls all grown up minus the baby fat. No fanservice though :C

If there is anything I kinda disappoint is that we never get to see Yuki and Utsumi actually doing it.

Looks like there's a small 9 page extra chapter in the final volume called the later life. Just a little look at the characters again...

Finally read the translated version of the extra chapter. I thought that the final chapter is somewhat lacking in closure. I am glad that the extra 9 pages brings a proper closure to the series.
