Seriously, the point of characters like Dante is that they have AWESOME written in their blood whether it's from their father, their grandfather, or their great great grandfather. Nobody would have really cared that he is the Son of Sparda when Sparda is a nobody.

Personally, this is probably the worst thing they could have done to the series from a lore/story perspective- assassinating Sparda's character.

That is something i would agree with. Sparda seems is just to weak in this reboot.
I have never understand of why not just stay of dante and vergil of being a Cambion.

You think that, outside of the whole sacrificing a woman bla bla bla from DmC 3, Sparda was as cool as Dante but when he got pissed he'd act like Vergil?, like all, I'm motivated, TO KICK YOUR ARSE! And then after he wiped the floor with everybody, he'd say, Foolishness noobs, foolishness. You guys never knew anything about keeping it stylish.

So i just seen a full walkthrough DmC devil may cry. The story and the buildup is good but how they ended it was anti-climatic. They also made vergil seems so weak for god sakes. I can't really comment much on the combat for now because i have only played the demo not the full version but it seems it's way too easy for players who have already played devil may cry. When i played the demo, i knew that the combat is not on DMC standards but i'm not expecting it to be like completely heavenly sword xD

I'm looking forward more at Vergil's downfall. Please don't suck.

well we dont know what will new Sparda Demon from look like. thought consider Dante DT is look like human instead standard devil from. maybe same applied with Sparda

Assuming they only fight in the end of the story, of course we'll never see him winning

since they're cooperating from the start.

DMC3 has 3 fights between them: Vergil won in the 1st, gets a draw in the 2nd, and lost in the final.

that outfit is so damn more boss than old vergil.
