Darn, that is not good news about the manga, any reason for the cancel? Well atleast the LN is contiuing and i hope atleast a summary of what has happened is given, but in the future i would also love to see it translated cause it has potientual.

I checked the official website and there is nothing about the comic getting axed, also the newly released 1st volume isn't listed as the last one. jwiki also has nothing except "ongoing".

I admit that my search was kinda shallow, but I still see no evidence about this one getting the shaft. LN 4 should be out in 8 days or so.

^Then that is good news to hear, but manga updates tends to be accurate, but based on what you said it doesn't add up. Well then, that gave me some hope of this manga not getting axed.

Baka-updates don't speak about this. (no relation between manga and LN).
In same time, baka-tsuki already trying to translate this ?

There currently are no official translation on BT and the 3 vol is to be released soon, while the manga is still on the first volume.

Is there any summary on the LN?. I really like the manga however I know from experience that the LN are more detailed

This manga's wonderfulness is perfectly captured by the one scene where the Shadowy Old Men turn out to have the most nefarious agenda of trying to create an idol fighting ESPer bishoujo group for great justice.

Frankly, I would do the same, except for the gel dude (sorry bro). I never understood what the fuck NERV was trying to do in the first place anyway, or why Shadowy Old Men don't have anything better to do except run villainous conspiracies.
