So they still keep the "white blood". Nice
I thought they changed it all into red "blood" from the previous trailers and clips. Some people don't like the white one since it reminded them of something....

the initial gameplay showed Raiden cutting up soldiers, but then they changed it to cyborg... I guess it's more morally acceptable...? Ignoring the fact that cyborgs are still living humans...

I see. I thought it's depending on the enemy type or something like "blood color" option.

The red "blood" wasn't real blood. It's oil. First mentioned when Gekko was described in MGS4 IIRC.

From what I've read in Solid 2 Raiden was supposed to be like a normal person to the point in the ending he was the player's avatar sharing his experience and even name in the dogtag. Kojima noted that Western response was horrible (most were just frustrated they couldn't play as Snake) so he changed him for Solid 4. This time Raiden acted more like a Metal Gear character talking about fights, how bad life and people liked him a lot....
His fighting style was so popular that several fans wanted a game to play as him. Kojima knows how to handle the fans.

Sorry Kojima in MGS2 I don't see myself as Raiden. I want to be SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
![]() Well either way when he debuted in his Cyborg ninja with highheels in MGS4, it's pretty obvious they will make a game out of it and here is our game.
