Sashiko is currently translating the election chapter. Whether or not he will continue doing the other short stories, help Dreyakis translate the normal volumes or quit mahouka after this altogether, I don't know.

From what I remember on the talk page(s), it sounded like the next section was the most daunting part of all? So it may be a while before that gets translated.

I'm a bit irritated by Kanon's attitude that Erika and Leo were using too much force because Chiaka(sp?) "only" had the password cracker. Did she conveniently forget about those gas-loaded darts? Kanon doesn't think that chucking around darts loaded with nerve agents sufficient reason to use an elevated level of force to capture and restrain? *mutter*

eh Kanon is kinda right, for exemple if Chiaki had cracked her skull open on the ground due to Leo's tackle it would have been a disaster for everyone.

That's why Erika said that Leo needed a better technique.

So the one thing I was musing about on this chapter was that Tatsuya said: Without someone like Mayumi, they wouldn't be able to catch those spies .. <-- But isn't Tatsuya's "elemental sight" even more powerful? He should know exactly who it is that is spying on them since he can just peek into the information dimension..

Uh.. do you think he can talk about that technique easily to someone else?

He might be reasoning with that argument so that he could politely refuse any bodyguard that Kanon suggests. Realistically of course, he doesn't need her because he already has that ability.

That's my two cents on this matter.
