Actually, it's mentioned she went to Hori's place and meet with him a few times, but afterwards the matter was never mentioned again. She probably just got tired and moved on, like normal girls do you know.

That! was the first time I saw a shoujo heroine grab the main male character's tongue (or act in that manner, period). It was so ridiculously funny, especially with Miyamura's reaction.
