Meh, I wish Odileia joined the party; it'd be quite cool having an Automata fight for you.

Anyone having trouble finding a better weapon? Level 20 and still using the first weapon available from NPC shop.

Atelier Ayesha's NA/EU release will only have English voiceovers.

Enjoy your lack of dual audio. If Tecmo Koei doesn't release a special edition with Japanese audio, I might just buy the JP release instead.

And only a partial dub at that, too. I wouldn't care about it lacking a JP voice track if they actually put effort into the dubbing, but...

Who's blaming NISA here? This is obviously the result of Tecmo Koei's decision.

Even from a sales viewpoint, this is a bad decision. These games are marketed to a very niche audience, with a relatively high ratio of players who prefer to play with Japanese audio, as opposed to a more mainstream franchise like Final Fantasy. This is a small group of people who are willing to pay high *as long* as they get exactly what they want. To suddenly take away from them a feature they've been used to having previously may not be worth foregoing the price of voice actor royalties.

Great. I'm holding back from buying this game until someone tells me there is dual voice in this one.

Too bad I was looking forward to it, but oh well.

They may be doing this intentionally, as an excuse to never bother with localizing Atelier titles again.

Sad news about the dual audio. Guess I should expect the rest of the Atelier games after Ayesha will no longer have dual audio as a option.

Also I see no news on any type of limited edition?

This is a frigging mess. First TK Europe said on their facebook page that there will be dual audio and english text. Then there is no dual audio and only partial dub.

And now they have said that they will have to ask the japanese team about this matter

As it currently stands no dual audio, partial dub and no LE. What a joke.

Do they even know what they are doing, honestly? The information is all over the place. Many places report different info.

knowing Nis, they probably tried to get the both English and Japanese voice over. i guess
the real problem is from TK. they are on a role of NO english voice whatsoever (warrior orochi 3
and probably the upcoming Ken's Rage 2).

both sides probably conflicting with each others and so we have half a dub and
all these confusion mess.

Nis is trying to please the fans. TK, doesnt give a damn...

According to the facebook and twitter page, the game is going to have dual audio, and it's the text that will be English only.

We are very sorry. We have confirmed the voice option information with GUST and for this title, it will be English only.

We know how important this is for you and we will try to implement the voice option in the future Atelier releases
Yeah sorry but that and no LE is a deal breaker for me. At least release them as DLC like with Dynasty Warriors.

So it's GUST that wants a partial dub release only and not Tecmo Koei?
Are they insane?

I don't even remember when was the last time I posted on this forums, but I just have to say this is some serious bullshit. The Atelier series is perhaps the only one that's a guaranteed purchase for me, and given how ridiculous expensive PS3 games are in my country, the fact that I was going to get this game on day one shows how much I love them. Sadly, no Japanese audio track is something I can't put up with.

I guess we will have to wait and see, maybe it was all a mistake and there is indeed dual audio, in which case I'll be more than happy to pay for this game. Luckily I own a PS3 with CFW, so I'll just download an undub, but this one I wasn't even thinking about pirating.

I hate how some people are thinking we should be grateful that they are bringing the game here. If the product doesn't meet my expectation, don't expect me to shell out any single cent for it.

If I want to support the company, I'll just process and purchase the JP version.

Very saddened to see this. After enjoying three lovely on the PS3 and looking forward to a start of perhaps a new series, I will not buy it as long as JP voices aren't available.
