i dont want to be knit picker but didnt kakashi have a scar that ran over his eye? and yeah im having im interested in the mystery of the right eye. facially, the shape is good. your nose placement pretty much threw off everything else. try drawing a line down the middle of the face and keep in mind the contours of the face and draw around them. it'll serve as a guide to where the placement of the eyes, nose, and mouth should be. secondly, the ear, at this 3/4 view, we should be able to see the entire ear, top to bottom.

also, im noticing that this looks like your first rough draft. i suggest you make more drafts by tracing over your first drawing so it'll look cleaner and correct any mistakes. trace again after till you feel like its clean enough.

voila! i hope i helped

^ ^ wut can i say, i just felt like drawing that night i guess...it's that urge i tell ya. but i got some good advices, i'll certainly take em into considerations next time i draw-except for the draft or no draft thing...it just get too overwhelming to do drafts...it becomes suddenly way too much work lol

peace~

That's good advice, but in doing that, many a time you lose the life of the artwork. By constantly redoing it and redoing it, you lose the "freshness" and "life" of the piece. Sometimes I had rather much much enjoy looking at the roughness of it, because it's much more alive than a constantly redone piece even though it may be cleaner. Sometimes it's good to have your piece, erase and/or just draw it again (like get a new paper out completely). That keeps each piece looking fresh and alive.

fresh and live? lol i dunno about that. whats "fresh and alive" is completely up to the viewer's preference/opinion. others may find clean lines with varying line-weights to look more fresh and alive. furthermore, the process i was describing is refinement.

ah nevermind, i feel bad now.

refinement is good, fresh and alive? i guess... but if you're looking to make a very clean drawing you could go w/ what he said.

heh, this said by one who can't draw a straight line to save his life....
