Well, I wouldn't put it that way but, technically yes. Both Arclight and Blade won't live to see how the world has changed two years ahead in the future.

At this point it's safe to assume Saten is creating a new Adam subject, and that is no other than Cruz himself. He's doing this even at the back of Triple Six who will soon give birth to the subject nº 80 from the Adam series.

However, creating a needless who can wield the power of God first requires to have the DNA. To achieve this, Saten faked defeat and made Eve use Doppelganger on Cruz. Doppelganger as we know uses the cells and transfers them to heal wounds and such. But... what happens when is used on someone whose body cells had already been destroyed because he died? Bingo.

Okay, so... trying to understand some things here.

Eve N is the body of Kasumi's little sister, Karin. Half of Eve N's brain is Karin and the other half Kasumi. It seems Gido sealed those memories of Kasumi and Karin before Eve N met Blade (Ch47, page 3). Also, during the accident with the Angel, Eve N was exposed to a high concentration of Eden's Seed. This might be the reason why Eve N melted during Eve's Story (Karin's body). Adding in part of Blade's brain to give her Doppelganger allowed her to recreate her own body but it melted again shortly after the PF Blast and after Saten visited her in the hospital. You also kind of wonder if Gido did something to Eve N during Eve's Story that caused her to melt. Maybe we'll find out.

If Saten is one of the scientists related to the Adam Project, he's probably the one who vouched for Arclight to be saved (Ch47, page 14). Maybe he manipulated Arclight so he could be defective and, when dumping his body, saved him or something and had him retaliate against the Adam Project for his own purposes. Just a though if we can ever decide on who or what he is.

Also, I have no clue what's going on with the body forms. Eve N's body has melted twice. Eve M (Riru) had pretty much the same body plan as her as an Eve, so is she also part Karin? Blade's body, despite looking the exact same as Arclight and Saten, is reinforced with a metal skeleton and inorganic material (which is how Eve was able to save him after she shoved her drill arm into his abdomen). Also, if Arclight's body is similar to the Second Christ because he absorbed him, why do Blade and Saten match? I really don't get any of the body recognition/shape/etc stuff going on anymore...

This is an interesting turn of events, but something tells me that another plot twist will happen next chapter... They are happening almost all next chapters.

Well, it seems Arclight+Blade team up may actually happen, considering that things shifted from Arclight owns everyone to Gido and Saten fucking dominate. Soon Saten or Gido betray the other, calling it now. Betray or be betrayed, that is what currently happening.

Why Blade, Arclight and Saten have the same height and body shape is something that has been bugging us since the very beggining, and I believe the ones who hold the answer to this is Triple Six.

In addition to that, the only way someone could have that body shape was only if he had the DNA of the 2nd Christ, and Saten not only has that same stature. Out of the three he's also the one who resembles him the most. He's almost his evil counterpart. And those bandages aren't just for show, I know that.

Saten said that Gido experimented on himself and completed himself before Adam A and Adam B, which is why he called him Adam Z. That was in reference to the Angel incident where Kasumi died. However, Kasumi was alive when she named Adam A and Adam B and even lived long enough to watch them be infused with the Eden's Seeds.

So... what happened first? Did Gido complete himself first, Kasumi die, then get cloned just to name Adam A and Adam B? That doesn't make any sense.

You are confusing yourself, read chapter 46. First the clones of Adam Arclight and Adam Blade were made, named and infused with Eden Seed, then it came the incident that "killed" Kasumi.

By complete he means when Blade started to develop and his hair grew, that's what Saten means. Arclight too wasn't complete at that time, his body got dumped in the Black Spot, remember? Blade was still developing at that time, yet Gido already made use of his Zero powers before him. Hence why Saten says he was complete before both clones were.

You can say Blade achieved completion afterwards, and Arclight after he merged with the remains of the Second Christ.

And I would like to address something important regarding that,

And no matter what, in that state of his he should have died days after. Unless... someone picked him up and modified him, that is. I believe this is where Saten's "I created you" comes to play.

Also, in regards to the naming system, since he kinda sorta named himself after AA and AB were named, why not go onto AC? Well, we know who Adam Cyclops is, so we know why he didn't take AC, but... that's what would've made sense given the chronological order of things.

You know, I'm wondering if the scientist that was supposed to dump Arclight was Saten, who then took his body over to Triple Six, modified him, and then sent him on a rampage to destroy the Adam Project (and reunite with the Second Christ's body). Maybe that's why he didn't know anything about Blade since he was only around during the infusion stage of things and didn't really understand everything about the project after he was to dispose of Arclight's body.

And maybe the goal of Arclight's mission to the Adam Project was to retrieve the Second Christ's body for Triple Six to use instead of the Adam Project. Maybe that's when Saten modified himself (with the help of Mengroze who was fired, too) to extract the Angel or something for his own purpose? [And maybe that's when Cruz and Aruka showed up at Mengroze's clinic in Blackspot and Saten met Aruka??? That last bit is all loose speculation]. Then who knows what after that.

That "I suppose" is clear indication he just thought of the name now. You're mistaking Gido for a real Adam clone when he isn't actually. Iit's exactly the same as Adam N. The only person who could have named her Neuschwanstein can only be Eve.

But why bother discussing a name

About Doppelganger. Even the chief was shocked, so it isn't strange. Being a fragment still on research back then, it was probably the first time Gido saw the ability in action. Which means he didn't have it at that time, but now... now I'm pretty sure he has it. Why? A few chapters ago we saw someone big, young and with something shining on his forehead. Yes, that was Gido, no doubt.

So, although we got our Gido flashback (and I would never in a million years have guessed how it would be presented), we still don't know why he's now the head of 666. (Though we do now know he wasn't with them all along.) I'm sticking with my original theory, with some refinements based on the latest info:

After the incident, with half of Kasumi's brain now in Eve's skull, and what was left of her body having been exposed to a supposedly lethal dose of Eden's Seed, Gido assumed that she was dead... however, unbeknownst to him, Simeon/666 kept hold of her remains for their own (plot?) purposes. They managed to keep her alive and restore her body, but as for her brain - well, perhaps they could have regrown it, but without a record of her memories to transfer into it, what's the point? She would have remained an empty shell. But then... they discovered that both Gido and Eve were alive and well, and the other half of Kasumi's brain still intact (and Eve apparently wasn't making particularly good use of it ). So Saten offers Gido his devil's bargain: Join us, and the woman you love can live again. All you need to do is sacrifice Eve (and all the rest of your companions) so she can have the other half of her brain back...

Well, Yuki is a needless too, so she being killed would have been rather odd when Setsuna and Kuchinashi were hit hard as well.

As for why they are there, quite the mundane question. To keep Riru occupied. Yes, they are no match for her, but they are what, 6, 7? Plenty to prevent Riru from helping Arclight.
I must say, when I saw the other two I thought "what? Setsuna and Kuchinashi are working together... with these two? And Kuchinashi attacking her beloved Riru?" Then I found they had been brainwashed with Black Attraction and suddenly everything made sense.

It's nice to see Eve and Gido's backstory finally touched upon, though at this point the addition of Karin to things just makes it more confusing. It's really not clear what the relationship is between Kasumi, Karin, and Eve. Why take half of Kasumi's brain if they were able to keep her alive? Where did Karin go?

I did get a good laugh out of Saten and Gido taking out Arclight like nothing. Watching Kami's long charted plan to take down the nascent god was very satisfying. Gido and Saten make far more interesting villains than Arclight ever did too. Though I'm still not convinced that they are total villains. Just what are they after? I guess Gido is after some way to help Kasumi, but I can't conceive how all of this can be related to that.

And of course I got quite the hoot out of the shoujo butai showing up at the end. I've always hungered for a shoujo butai vs Riru battle but I never thought it would actually happen! Looks like they've gotten power ups too. I bet Saten triggered something in them via Eden's Seed and then took control of them with Black Attraction. This would certainly explain why Setsuna went all bestial, started to overpower Teruyama, and then lost control of herself and ditched the battle. And of course Mio remains unaffected by his trick despite being with Setsuna and Kuchinashi for some time immediately prior to the current chapters. Something's just gotta be up with her.

Anyway, our final boss is suddenly gone and it's not immediately clear that either Saten or Gido is going to play the role of new final boss. I wouldn't be surprised now if we have an entire new arc to go through before this part of the series ends.

Kasumi: She was born with a disease that meant she would not live past 10.
Kasumi: So she was sent to the Eve Project to extend her life even if only by a little.
Kasumi: I was never able to meet her or tell her, but I was happy simply working on the Eve Project with my sister.

Hmm, it doesn't say that her disease was cured by becoming Eve. They are talking about extending her life. I wonder if this will play a role later.

I wonder if this is important.
Kasumi started to unify with the angel -> a part of Kasumi's brains is transferred to Eve (might explain why she was a natural at doppelganger after getting it) -> Eve uses doppelganger on Cruz's heart/arm after which Cruz was 'revived' and his power started awakening more.

Karin = Eve. Karin was the original human they used to create Eve.

Also I think they didn't expect to be able to keep Kasumi alive after removing half her brains. She was exposed to a lethal dose of Eden's Seed as well. If she's alive after receiving so much Eden's Seed, then she must have become a Needless. Maybe Gido is searching for a way to get the old Kasumi back.

Yeah, Saten has proven he can be merciless to his enemies and nice to temporary allies. Part of me can't believe this is the same person that helped Cruz in the memory world. He is one of the few that was actually nice to him, and could tell it was him in disquise at first glance.

As for finishing Arclight, I bet Blade will interfere, upset that someone is trying to steal his kill or something along those lines.

Cruz doesn't even seem to know Kasumi. However, if its true, Cruz's brain could have meant to be a replacement for Kasumi's, the missing half. That is if he was egineered from Kasumi's DNA, but no proof supports it at the moment. Plus, his blood sibling is Aruka. Though I wonder, if its just the missing half brain. Some people can live just fine with only one half.

You know, here's a thought.

Despite Kasumi being attacked by an Angel and being exposed to lethal amounts of Eden's Seed, she's still alive. Yeah, despite all that talk about her dying in an accident and being severed in two by Gido, she's still alive, though in a vegetative state. Could it be that she survived this ordeal and became a Needless? Did she become a Needless because of the Angel uniting with her? And if she did become a Needless, was this lethal dose of Eden's Seed enough for her to awaken her power? And was this power learned by Gido, Shield of Aegis, then used on the Angel to kill it?

If that's the case and there have been a few that have said that Kasumi and Cruz look similar, maybe they share some similar DNA or an aspect of her brain which is what allows him to use Shield of Aegis? Perhaps when Cruz showed up to Mengroze's clinic with his head trauma... stuff happened and he was given either some of Kasumi's brain or DNA or something which is what allowed him to develop Shield of Aegis. Or maybe when Eve used Doppelganger on Cruz in the Third Shelter, the cells she used to reconstruct his heart contained Kasumi's DNA (from the half of Kasumi's brain in her body) which then allowed him to use Shield of Aegis (which was first seen a chapter later when he stopped Aruka, surprising even Saten). And like Kasumi, he needed to be exposed to some more Eden's Seed (the pill he took) for him to fully awaken his powers. Also, there's the whole deal about the Angel, too, but that hasn't really been explained yet.

Also, I'm kinda curious why Triple Six picked Gido to save Kasumi and Eve N in their lab. It seems kinda strange that they called him in and prepared the syringe for him to use to go rescue Eve N and stop the Angel from entering the Triple Six lab. If they knew he'd been experimenting on himself, I don't think there's any mystery there. Activating his powers, if it worked, was probably their best chance for rescuing Eve from the angel.

(It occurs to me that Gido's successful transformation may have inspired one of his fellow scientists - perhaps one who was linked to 666 - to perform similar experiments on himself... though perhaps the outcome wasn't quite as successful in his case, which is why he now wears bandages to conceal the resultant scarring...)
