Some look cute. While some look

well I don't...... like much western cosplay but I like some but it just seem off for me.

I will serve in the banner for Maki.

Well... I wasn't going to mention this before, but the big issue is that at least a couple of them can't really pull off teenagers any more. A couple of them are very obviously women in their late 20s or older. But they're probably doing the best they can, and so I didn't want to criticize it too much.

Love Live Life 04 - Alpaca? Alpaca

Japan has this fascination with alpacas I've never fully understood. Besides the ubiquitous cats and dogs, they're probably the third most seen animal in anime. I wasn't even expecting one to show up here, but hey, alpaca! It's such a fun word to say. Alpaca. Alpaca. ALPACA!

Getting off the alpaca topic, I like how this episode shifted focus for the first time in the series. Honoka wasn't the central character, Hanayo was. She kind of reminds me of Yukiho, but with less hole digging. Once again, this show knows how to put together a montage, and the way it developed Makirinpana together was very well done. Whoever's the story editor for this show deserves some mad props. They're weaving together all the characters in a way that flows really well. Though the mystery of whoever uploaded the video remains.

I've been looking forward to seeing Niko, if only because her voice (and her attitude) makes her the second coming of Nero.

I think the next girl to glomp/snuggle Maki is Nico. In the 4th music video Maki gives valentine's chocolate to Nico. I think they have a lot of fanart of them too. xD

And I completely understand why

If Maki getting snuggled/glomped/groped by someone is made into a drinking game, I think I'll die of alcohol poisoning by the end of the series

I think the reason why Maki gets that kind of attention is because she gives out this cool beauty feel about her. She's quiet and doesn't talk to a lot of people, but once they know how tsun she is, they are compelled to glomp her.

Just look at the expression she gives to Umi before Honoka glomps her on episode 3.

To me, she's a character that even exceeds the typical moe factor since she's not so much that, but more adorable in a very likeable way where other girls just want to hug or tease her.
