I'm more of a Metal Gear fan actually.

My only experience with this sort of action game before I get this one was Bayonetta.

So there are swords that have different effects and the mariachi outfit is actually useful?

I can't think of a reason why an authentic civilian disguise wouldn't be useful.

EDIT:

Well yes it should be very good. For a second I thought a random Mexican would be a playable character but the trailer pointed it was just a disguise. Maybe Wolf could be disguised as Raiden's pet.

I wouldn't exactly see a point in that, seeing as it seems that costume itself was based off of Gray Fox...

Gray Fox is awesome, and having the original Gray Fox skin and an upgrade of it would be super awesome. Who knows? Be cool if these costumes had unique abilities. one can dream.

Though you can upgrade Raiden's armor and at the same time it would change his appearance.

Yeah, just showing a bunch of cyborg enemy types.

New article, it talks about a bunch of stuff but apparently one thing stood out-

Quote:
The final game has had its difficulty rejiggered a fair bit since the original Tokyo Game Show demo last fall. "We got pretty decent praise," Saito recalled, "but we saw a lot of people having trouble with the controls. So we immediately got to work adjusting the difficulty level. We had started work thinking the game was meant for people good at action titles, but after TGS, we started thinking more along the lines of an experience that people who just like the Metal Gear world setting can enjoy as well."

Even more feedback was implemented from the demo, which was released in Japan last month. Since then, Blade Mode has been made easier to set off, and in Easy mode, Raiden will now parry attacks in semi-automatic fashion. "Just making the game easy would've removed some of the game's attractive points," Inaba explained. "But at the same time, we didn't want people getting stuck at the LQ-84i battle and say 'Ah, forget it' just because they couldn't master the parry move. So I told Saito that we needed some kind of rescue for that...even though it was about two weeks before the end of the dev cycle by that point."

I guess the parry move was a bit hard to pull off, even if it did keep telling you how to do it.

As long as there are options, I don't mind whatever they are doing. Don't dumb down the whole game. Just give people who are having trouble an easy other way to walk through the game.

The impression lasts for over 30 minutes?! I'll just read an article.

Also what they did to the easy mode is pretty good. Parry has been hard to pull in lots of games (I still have bad memories with Street Fighter 3)
