^Definitely, Raku will probably use Chitoge's mom's word back at her. "You're the only one who can do it. You're needed by Chitoge, so you have the responsibility to be with her", or something like that
![]() Mom will then convinced and talks with Chitoge, help her wearing the ribbon back, and 'punishing' Raku for stood up against her by giving him responsibility to be with Chitoge from now on

I do feel sorry for Chitoge, but I kind of hope her mom doesn't do a complete 180 in the next few chapters or I would be quite disappointed. Other then that, was still a funny chapter except for the ending pages.

The only that woman cares about is business, apparently. She can't even spare some time for her daughter on Christmas. She's a horrible mother.
It's obvious everything will end up well, and I hope this will be done in a believable manner. For starters, Raku needs to grow some balls and tell her what he's thinking.

I'm pretty they'll be able to make it seeing how cliche this series is. Maybe they will meet at the airport before she says goodbye.
She's weird. I mean, 10 years worth of gifts? I still don't get it why is it hard for her to give those gifts. It wouldn't even take a lot of time just by giving it.

So that's the path he chose... rather than a bad mother, Hana is just supposed to be unbelievably awkward. Not sure I buy that.
Can't she just not get on the plane? If she truly loves her daughter, she ought to be able to choose her over work.

Tbh I was pleasantly surprised about how this strong (almost almighty) person was revealed to have this unexpected vulnerable side.
I knew she would have some sort of soft side for her daughter nevertheless but not to this extent even as far as being shy in front of her. No matter how awkward that may be for an adult parent but to me that was very well written development. |

I can believe that the mother, despite being very serious about her job, as an awkward side to her....
But being awkward with her relationship with her daughter to the point of barely speaking to her through 10 years, going to the trouble of buying gifts every year but always leaving without giving them to her......that's not awkward or anything, that's plain stupid. So for the first years of Chitoge's life her mother was able to have a relationship and connection with her but then, suddenly, lost it all and immersed herself in her job to that point???? Sorry, that's just hard to believe for me that's all.......human psychology doesn't work that way. If the author had shown an event that could have caused a breach in their relationship, that I could believe.....but out of nowhere she went from caring mother (whichever degree of that) to a mother that doesn't spend any time with her daughter at all????? Nope, calling forced on this one.
